I had this issue with when I plugged it into my computer it would merely charge. Thanks to the helpful info on here I was able to put the micro sd bill of fare from my husbands phone into this telephone. then plug into the calculator and choose the "mass storage" selection that came up. When I plug the phone into the USB port, the computer does not recognize the device. I don't go a "new device detected" or new "drive" on the computer. It just charges the battery.
